"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

A dilemma

I really want to see Serenity opening night. My adored husband wants to go to a hockey game. We could go see it after the game, but I am old and it would be well past my bedtime. He thinks that seeing Serenity on Sunday after we come back from the boat is just fine. I want to be a total fan girl and be a first-nighter.

Marriage is hard.

As long as you see it this weekend: Summer Glau and Jewel Staite asked us very nicely last night to make sure all our friends did. And could you let them down? No, I don't think you could.

Thanks for the reminder. I'll need to be checking that out. I still haven't seen all the Firefly eps, but I've seen most of them.

My husband made dinner plans that I can't convince him to cancel, or to allow me to back out of. So I have to wait till Saturday. I told him I am going to the first showing and he'd better be there too.

I think I may have a plan. There is a showing at 4:00 and the game isn't until 7:00. I think it can work!! [dance]

If the 4.00 thing doesn't pan out, then I'd suggest an energy drink, and a Saturday morning lie in [up]

Having cake and eating it, so to speak!

I don't know if Jim can get all us Bears into the theater at once. We might have to wait for the DVD.

We wanted to see the Thursday midnight showing at the Arclight in Hollywood... went on-line too late - center sections were sold out.

Then we had plans to go Friday night... ended up I had to work until 10:30pm - no late shows after that.

So, we finally saw the earliest show on Saturday.

It was a matinee. I felt like such a failure as a fan.

ummm,

I haven't see it yet. But I think we'll go tomorrow night. Hard to say. Want to see it with Jim, but he only has one day left here and I kinda keep using him for other purposes...
